BIOGRAPHY
Nathan was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of the famous Gospel music DJ, Arwyn Palmer & grandson to the late Lewis Hamlin Jr., who for many years served as the lead band director for the late-great James Brown. He later moved to Durham, North Carolina where he completed his formal education before enlisting in the United States Navy. The Navy presented him with the opportunity to see many different beautiful countries & cultures for ten years. For as long as Nathan can remember he has had a love for music, entertainment, art, fashion & sports. As a young man he was very active in school plays, musicals, sports & singing in the church choir. While in the Navy, living in San Diego, California, he was very instrumental in developing a singing group called Contrast. This group performed with various top artists in the R&B field, while also securing a recording contract. As his service to his country was coming to an end, Nathan decided to attend school at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and study his love for fashion design and marketing. His passion for fashion & helping others led him to pursue and present the world nathanpalmer, where the motto is “Don’t just wear it…Sport It!” In his words;...."I just wanna do my part to change the culture of America to help those in need all while looking & feeling good doing it!"
